Western Pulp Products Introduces Two New Products

Western Pulp Products Company will announce two new product introductions during the 2012 OFA Short Course in Columbus, Ohio. The first is a new, easy-to-install Clip-on Nylon Hanger for 10-inch and 12-inch hanging baskets. The 12X5RD Ready-to-plant container for use as a drop-in liner for decorative containers is the other new product.

Clip-on Nylon Hanger

Developed with input from Western Pulp customers and field tested across the U.S. and Canada, this unique, patent-pending Clip-on Nylon Hanger design is marketed as a faster and easier-to-use design than the company’s current barbed hanger and eyelet system for hanging baskets. Installation is simple, just press the clip over the rolled rim of any of Western Pulp’s 10-inch and 12-inch baskets and let the tension clip do the rest. The new Clip-on nylon hanger eliminates the need for baskets with eyelets to saves time, labor and money. 

12X5RD Ready-to-plant Container

The new 12X5RD Ready-to-plant container features nine additional 1-inch diameter holes in the bottom. The Ready-to-plant container is ideal for use as a drop in liner for decorative planters, as well as instant spots of color that will root into a flower bed through the container’s extra bottom holes. At the end of the season, the made-from-recycled-paper, molded fiber container can easily be composted or rototilled into the flower bed.
