Retailers Compete For Stimulus Dollars

The Red Lion Hotel On The River, Portland, Ore., will be the host location for the eighth annual Garden Center Group Fall Event, Aug. 18-22, 2008.

With five days focusing on business building skills from marketing strategies to employee development, The Garden Center Group Fall Event ’08 includes workshop presenters from Constant Contact, Network Solutions, Seawright & Associates, Wizard Of Ads and The Stinson Group. Garden center and grower tours and a visit to the Farwest Trade Show, followed by a trade show product review session, offer garden center retailers multiple opportunities to be inspired by future-focused businesses.

This year’s Real Life Retailing Tour will include The Garden Corner and Al’s Garden Center, in addition to other Portland area retail locations.
