Hoerr Nursery Adds On
Peoria-based Hoerr Nursery has added a new 10,000 square foot GardenHouse to its retail operation. The new addition opened this weekend with much fanfare.
The Peoria-based garden center and landscape company Hoerr Nursery has added on a new, 10,000 square foot GardenHouse to its retail operation.
"We’ll have many of our annuals in the GardenHouse, and with this facility now it allows us a much more customer-friendly space to display our plants and to have our customers buy them," says Bryon Rinkenberger, production team manager and project manager for the GardenHouse. "We’re famous for our hanging baskets, and with this facility, we’ll be able to display hundreds more."
Another thing Hoerr Nursery is doing this year is creating a Destination Center for Proven Winners (PW) products. Along with displaying PW product in a way that draws customers in, Hoerr Nursery also held free presentations about topics such as containers, fairy gardens, birding and more in the Destination Center.
