Over the past two weeks, retailers have been sharing how the 2011 holiday season fared for them through a short survey from Today’s Garden Center.
The answers offer good news and better news. The good news is that a whopping 76.9 percent of respondents report their 2011 holiday sales were more than 2010’s.
The better news is that more than a third (34.6%) report that 2011 holiday sales were higher than previous record sales.

- More than 90%: 30.8%
- 80-89%: 26.9%
- 70-79%: 11.5%
- 60-69%: 26.9%
- 50-59%: 3.8%
- Less than 50%: 0%
