What changes have you made in the last 12 months to increase your garden center's profitability? We take part in a co-op purchase of gas through the Maumee Valley Growers Association. We also share collaborative marketing efforts with this association. This year we increased retail price and also reduced labor.

What events are you involved in that promote your store while contributing to a charity or community cause? This year we contributed to numerous charity fundraisers and made donations to local schools. We donated flowers to one of our community schools as a teacher appreciation gift.

Why is your garden center Revolutionary? As an independent garden center, we have vowed to make it our mission to, "Foster knowledge and ignite passion" for the garden industry. We look for opportunities to strengthen customer relationships through seminars, tours, community involvement and family events. As a family owned business we have committed ourselves to embrace all necessary changes as we are fulfilling our dream of becoming a Destination Garden Center.
