This retailer is the premier garden center in the Cleveland area with seven locations, and a soon-to-be open eighth location in Avon, Ohio. The company announced the new addition in early October, after the purchase of a family fun park that had closed recently.

The new location will receive a large, conservatory-like structure from a Dutch structures company called Thermoflor, and 95 percent of the location will be under cover.

The Petitti family has been in business for 35 years and has identified training as a vital part of the business. A communications director is in charge of all training opportunities, and members of the staff are trained on product information, merchandising, reporting and sales.

The Petitti family also is heavily involved in the community, conducting speaking engagements, supporting charitable events and getting involved with city streetscape committees and other gardening organizations.

Owner Angelo Petitti also has a radio show that establishes him as the gardening authority in Cleveland.
