Hillermann Nursery & Florist constantly strives to provide the best products and service to its customers, keeping up on the industry's latest offerings and trends. The garden center does so through its heavy involvement in industry organizations, such as Garden Centers Of America (GCA), OFA, Society Of American Florists (SAF) and The Garden Center Group, as well as various regional associations.

The garden center is extremely active in the community, too, participating in the county fair with a Gardening For Fun and Smarts booth. Hillermann also offers free plant rental and decorations for public events held at a local park, and sponsors dances and outdoor movies for the parks department. The garden center also educates youth, offering educational sessions at area grade schools.

Hillermann keeps close tabs on its customers, too, through a rewards program the garden center uses to learn about customers' needs and track their purchases to offer them rebates.

Daily reports from Hillermann's POS system, in addition to tightening up the in-house buying group, help the garden center keep close track of inventory and track product turns, too.
