Arett
The Arett Sales Corporation was founded in 1953 to distribute exclusively to retail garden centers. Today, the Cherry Hill, N.J. business is a $100 million company and operates two warehouses in Bristol, Conn., and Cherry Hill.
Those at Arett pride themselves on being able to provide a complete mix of lawn and garden products with value-added services, including quick turnaround (next day to three-day delivery), a trained sales team, in-season discounts and seasonal specials, among others.
These days, Arett doesn't just serve the retail garden center market. It also has several divisions, including a horticultural tools and supplies division and a dollar store division.
Arett was named Distributor of the Year by the Lawn & Garden Marketing and Distribution Association (LGMDA) at the awards banquet this January in Phoenix. Arett is a member of LGMDA, as well as Growise and the Independent Nursery Group.
