How have you used social media to brand your store and attract or existing new customers? Facebook and Twitter are updated regularly. Facebook is a wonderful tool to communicate special events, promotions, special sales or new products to our fans. The use of images allow customers the chance to see what we are talking about and to better connect with what we are sharing. Usually smaller bits of info are shared on a more regular basis on our facebook page. This keeps us out there more! Our Twitter is a great tool used to feature our eMail newsletters.
What makes your garden center revolutionary? DeWayne’s is distinctively different and diverse! The diversity of our Garden Center and Gift Shop has proven successful for us in 2010. Weather has been a challenge for our garden center this year. By adding the new Ladies Boutique this year it has provided additional income, and as our Girls Night Out showed us, customers come to our store for the Ladies Boutique and leave with plants, too! That is revolutionary!
