First Editions Introduces ‘Amber Jubilee’ Ninebark

First Editions’ ‘Amber Jubilee’ ninebark is a new Physocarpus opulifolus set to make its first garden center appearance in spring 2012. The hardy shrub’s foliage displays hues of orange, yellow and gold. In fall, the leaves transform to red and purple.

‘Amber Jubilee’ ninebark was named in honor of Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee. Unlike other ninebark varieties from Bailey Nurseries, ‘Amber Jubilee’ was developed in Manitoba, Canada. It thrives in full sun and in USDA Zones 2-7. This ninebark matures to a height of 5 to 6 feet and a spread of 4 feet.

When planted together in groups,’ Amber Jubilee’ can provide a landscape backdrop. Its all-season interest makes it an ideal feature plant, as well. Purchase ‘Amber Jubilee’ ninebark exclusively at Bailey Nurseries.
